During 2005-2006, HPSEDC have achieved the turn over to the tune of Rs.1860.20 Lacs. and Rs. 3115 Lacs. For the year 2006-2007 which is 67.47% higher than the turn-over for the year 2005-2006. HPSEDC has also paid FBT and VAT an amounting to Rs. 1.42 Lacs. and Rs. 52.85 Lacs. respectively during this financial year. Corporation has earned a profit of Rs. 127.55 Lacs. in comparison to last years profit of 72.14 Lacs. HPSEDC generates its revenue from various activities i.e. marketing of computer hardware, softwares, printers, UPS systems, Office Automation Equipments, Medical Equipments, Data Processing jobs, site preparation for computer installations, sale of computer furniture, construction works and various other activities etc.

 

HPSEDC has successfully handled processing work of recruitment of Jail Warders and Constables for the Police Department, H.P., during the year 2006-2007 and 2007-08 respectively. Further recruitment of Police Constables Nov.08 onward, has also been undertaken by HPSEDC and will be completed within 2 months time period, through Department of Police, H.P.

 

HPSEDC is sucessfully doing the Result Processing of 8th, 10th & Plus-Two examinations conducted by H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala, (both summer and winter sessions) of approx. 5.5 to 6 Lacs. candidates annually w.e.f 1986-87 onwards. HPSEDC has also successfully processed / processing JBT's and other combined entrance test examination conducted by HP Board of Technical Education.

HP State Electronics Corporation has successfully completed Photo-I-Cards total about 31-32 Lacs. voters, out of which about 24 lacs. cards were completed in a record period of 6 months, for Chief Election Commissioner, Election Department, Himachal Pradesh during 1995-96.

 

HPSEDC have successully Developed & Implemented application software pacakages to various Government Departments, Boards, Corporations in the State as-well-as GOI, and few are : RGI Census (GOI), Agriculture & Horticulture Departments Census H.P., Economic Census, Electricity Billing, Payrolls, Procurement & Sales Analysis, PIMS, Budget Planning & preparation, Statistical Analysis, EPF Accounting, Public Distribution System (PDS) for HP Civil supply Corpn. and many more.

 

Undertaken a work of Development of various applications packages and Website of HP, Horticulture Department, in association with M/s. Shogi Communication P. Ltd. Shoghi, Shimla. Website Development and Implementation has already been completed.

 

HPSEDC have successfully done the Data Processing of various projects both of State Governmnts and GOI's and few are as :-

-Survey of BPL Families in HP State,through Rural Dev. Deptt. , Preparation of Photo-ID Cards of Labourers employed in various factories in the State through Deptt. of Labour & Employment, H.P., 3rd Finance Commission ( Data processing of Panchyats in State), through Planning Deptt, H.P, Financial Status of Gram Panchyats conducted by Department of Panchayati Raj, H.P and many more.

Panchayati Raj Deptt, Rural Dev. Deptt. H.P. Secretariat, High Court & Distt. Courts, Governor Secretariat, HPPWD, HP Police Deptt. Deputy Commissionr Offices, Social Justice & Empowerment, HP Board of School Education, Director Technical Edu, Polytechnic College and ITI's, HPSEB, HP Civil Supply Corpn, HP Power Corpn, HRTC, HP University and Govt. Colleges and many more. Besides, HPSEDC, is selling computer systems and other related accessories to private customers too, in large volumes.
